The Hero has an operation book was AMAZING for my son. He was 4 years old when he was diagnosed with a defect that required a minor operation. After being hospitalized and getting so many “pokes,” he was terrified. We went through this book multiple times and did all the activities leading of to his procedure. We also referred back to it in the hospital on the day of and it was so helpful in reducing his anxiety because he knew what to expect!
